Six years after TV’s The West Wing wrapped its run, the show’s costars are still fans of walking and talking.
Reuniting to film a hilarious Funny or Die skit called “Walk & Talk,” original fast-talking cast members Martin Sheen, Allison Janney, Dule Hill, Joshua Malina, Melissa Fitzgerald and William Duffy reprise their roles on the 1999-2006 Washington, D.C.-set series in an effort to get Americans moving more.
“We need your help, Mr. President,” Hill, 36, tells Sheen, 71, in the clip above. “We have to convince the American people to do something that’s good for them.”
When his team fails to come up with a way to properly disseminate their message, Sheen — who played President Josiah “Jed” Bartlet on The West Wing — launches into a monologue about what their next move should be.
“Come on, friends, we’re going for a walk!” Sheen — donning a suit and sweatband for the occasion — bellows at the end of the clip.
